When God closes one door He always opens another. It appears He has temporarily closed the door for sheltering services inside the 1411 Locust Street facility in St. Louis until necessary repairs are made.
As this happens God has opened new doors for greater service for New Life Evangelistic Center in other areas. These include additional services to the homeless living on the streets in St. Louis. This consists of sharing blankets, care kits, food, counseling and much more to those who are wandering the streets all night long. For information about donating and volunteering call Dulce at (314) 787-7285 between the hours of 9:30 am and 4:30 pm (Monday thru Friday).
New Life Evangelistic Center is also helping the poor and elderly with energy assistance, food, and other emergency needs. As this effort is taking place NLEC is engaging in a major remodeling effort to get the 1411 Locust building reopened in the near future.
The New Life women and men who are on staff and were residing at 1411 Locust are now being relocated to rental houses throughout the St. Louis area.
New Life Evangelistic Center is also expanding its services to the hurting and homeless at the training centers in New Bloomfield and Marshfield. These farms are a part of the direct service centers also helping the homeless in Springfield, Joplin, Columbia, Potosi, and Van Buren.
So many hurting and homeless people are being helped because of caring people like you, who continue to be there when people are hurting, hungry and homeless. This is not only taking place in Mid-America, but as far away as Haiti, India and Africa. For further information please browse our website.
