The City of St. Louis Board of Public Service postponed a decision today on whether they will revoke our hotel license, which allows us to house the homeless at 1411 Locust Street.  Jeff Rainford, Chief of Staff for the Office of the Mayor of the City of St. Louis, wrote a letter to Richard Bradley, the President of the Board of Public Service, recommending “that the Board postpone today’s scheduled deliberations in the New Life Evangelistic Center proceedings”.  He recommended this action so that “efforts to resolve the dispute can be exhausted before the Board issues its decision.”  He further states that his “hope is that the parties can come to a consensus that will protect the interests of downtown property owners and residents while maintaining and improving services for the homeless.”
