Reverend Paparao is the director of the New Life Evangelistic Center in India in the Kakinada Provence. He went to a nearby village and saw about 60 poor widows who do not have anything and they are totally dependent upon begging in the streets. He has also seen about 12 orphans and about 16 neglected kids in this village. He has given some help to them like rice, potatoes, bath soap and some vitamin tablets. After he returned to Kakinada he inspected one bore water well that was installed about a year ago. He conducted a small training program to instruct the neighbor women about how to clean the water before they use it for drinking or cooking food. The village women interestingly listened about what was said to them about cleaning of water. He gave CROSSES to them as a token of God’s love.
With our monthly support, he was able to conduct food programs for 165 poor widows. This program is held in the villages. This program was held in a New Life Public school. He shared about God’s love using John 3:16. The widows listened to what was explained through this verse and 4 women gave their heart to Christ. After the service, they received UPMA (cooked Rice food ) and they received food bags.
Some of the elderly women started speaking with him and they prayed together for the work that New Life – St. Louis is doing under the directorship of Rev. Rice. They asked him to convey their kind regards to us for our monthly support.
One woman came to him, she said that the doctors diagnosed her with throat cancer. The doctors advised her to take radiation treatment. She does not have the money for each radiation treatment. She requested prayers for healing. Reverend Paparao always feels happy, joyful, and satisfaction in his heart when he provides food and prayer for the widows. Many widows were abandoned by their families and are now homeless. They feel as if there is no hope in their life. To hear these words, makes him cry for God’s help and protection.
Reverend Paparao has provided free haircuts to some of the students of New Life school. Due to poverty, the parents are not able to support their children with haircuts, clothes etc. He really wants to help these children on a monthly basis with a care kit of: bath soap, detergent soap, tooth paste, etc. He is believing in the compassionate hands of Jesus Christ. In his spirit, he believes that some day in future, he can help all the children of New Life Schools.
