St. Louis – Tuesday, April 1 hearings for New Life Evangelistic Center’s right to shelter at 1411 Locust will continue in Room 208 in the St. Louis City Hall Building at 1:45 p.m.
This Tuesday’s hearing will center on the motion filed concerning the conflict of interest created when the St. Louis City Counselor, Patricia Hageman, negotiated for and accepted employment with the law firm of Bick & Kistner. While she was seeking employment with Bick & Kistner, the law firm representing the petitioners who are trying to remove New Life’s right to provide shelter, she was responsible and accountable for advising the Board of Public Service on this matter since September, 2013.
As the hearings continue each Tuesday the question exists whether NLEC will be able to get justice with these present issues.
