The Right to Shelter Hearings continue before the Board of Public Service Tuesday, November 5th at 1:45 p.m. in Room 208 of the St. Louis City Hall. They are concerning New Life Evangelistic Center’s right to retain its hotel permit and shelter the homeless. These hearings, which started September 24th, will continue Tuesday with the testimony of Larry Rice to be followed by the testimony of Chris Rice.

If New Life Evangelistic Center were to lose its hotel permit which it acquired in 1976, and no longer provided emergency shelter to the homeless, between 250 and 325 people each night would be left with no place to sleep.

New Life is represented by attorneys Todd Lubben and Lauren Harris from the Law Firm of Brown & James P.C.
