The Effective Call to Revival
Dear Friend, How would you fix the World’s problems, if you had the power to do it? How long would your answer to this previous question last before the World needed fixing again? I believe that what the World needs is a mighty movement of the Holy Spirit, renewing the hearts of men, women and children in vast numbers. I believe that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the great means of salvation and change in our country. I believe that apart from revival, we cannot hope for

Depressing, But Blessed
I have been incarcerated since January of 2009, and Christmas is the single most depressing time of the year for me, and also one of the blessed days of my life.

What If...
Man! Those are powerful words. Depending on what you follow them with, these two little words can lead you into a whirlwind of fear and worry, filled with nightmarish scenarios. Or, they can provide you with a path to paradise. It’s all a matter of perspective.

All I Want for Christmas
My son Daniel is in jail in Barnstable County, Massachusetts, for a crime he did not commit. Even the public defender has said he could not figure out why they picked my son up in the first place. The woman making the complaint claims that 21 years ago, when she was a child, she was molested by Daniel. It took her 21 years to recall all this. She says that the proof that Daniel did this is because in the year 2000, he was accused and arrested in Crawford County, MO, but that

The Safe Haven Campaign
Since April 2017, the largest low-barrier walk-in shelter in Mid-America has been shut down. As a result of the city of St. Louis closing the New Life Evangelistic Center at 1411 Locust, multitudes have been forced to sleep outside in their cars, vacant buildings, or wherever they can lay their heads.

When You Can't Take It Anymore
How many times have you felt like crying out lately, “Dear God, I can’t take it anymore.”
When the bottom seems to be dropping out of life and we feel the pressure mounting, the God – talk disassociated from the tragic events at hand (the present reality) only makes the problem worse. It is not theories or talk that is needed, but an awakening to the fact that God is present in the most hopeless of circumstances and situations.

The Cost of FREEDOM
Freedom isn’t just about walking out of a cell. It’s not just about being able to come and go. Real freedom starts in your mind, your spirit, and your will to keep going—no matter what’s trying to hold you back.

The Silent and Deadly Relationship Killer
Loneliness can feel like a dark, dank, musty prison cell. Its cold, hard, unforgiving walls seem to inch closer together. The worst part is the utter silence felt deep in the heart. No one can understand. No one can break through the prison doors. No one can hear, or see, or know the deep pangs of utter separation. What hope does God truly offer His children who battle loneliness? What help does the Bible offer to struggling Christians?

Avoid Being Lost in Loneliness
It is so easy to get lost in loneliness. Loneliness can creep up on anyone at any time. Everyone has felt lonely at one time or another! When a loved one dies, or a person gets a divorce, or ends up homeless, they naturally encounter loneliness. Therapists call this situation loneliness because it is a temporary condition. Situation loneliness is different from chronic loneliness in that chronic loneliness thrusts the individual into a destructive cycle.

God's Peace in the Storms of Conflict
“Why are you always like this! You never listen to me. You never care about me. All you do is just think about yourself!” Resentment, anger, distrust, and pain fuel these statements. I believe it's safe to say that every single person has experienced conflict in their relationships. We have all made statements like this, or worse, to loved ones, family, friends, coworkers, and strangers. Conflict in our relationships is a fact of life. It is as sure as death and taxes. Christ

With over 5,000 homes damaged or destroyed, mostly in one of the poorest areas of St. Louis, the need can feel overwhelming. But we remember how Jesus fed the 5,000 with just a few loaves and fish. I believe He can multiply your gift today to bring healing and hope to our city.
